The Confederation of Tamil Agriculture, Commerce, Industry, and Services (CTACIS) is a dynamic platform dedicated to uniting Tamil entrepreneurs, professionals, and businesses across various industries. Our mission is to create a strong business ecosystem that fosters economic growth while promoting Tamil language, heritage, education, culture and economic influence worldwide.
CTACIS serves as a bridge between business, industry, government, financial institutions, education, and society ensuring that Tamil enterprises thrive in the global economy while staying rooted in our traditions.
History and Legacy
The Confederation of Tamil Agriculture, Commerce, Industry and Services (CTACIS) was born from a vision to uplift and empower Tamil culture, scholarship, and enterprise. The journey began with our founder, Fr. Jegath Gaspar, who launched Sangamam-an initiative to document and support Tamil folk artists.
As the cultural revival gained momentum, a parallel effort was launched to recognize and support Tamil scholars, leading to the creation of SANGAM 4. To sustain these initiatives, CTACIS was formed - to promote collaboration, business growth, and community support.
Over the last decade, CTACIS - along with its sister organization THE RISE - has facilitated more than Rs.800 crores in business referrals, blending tradition with innovation.
